Phenolic Resins

ORIGIN : INDIA

PACKAGING : 25 KG BAGS

INTRODUCTION
Depending on their composition phenol resins harden at temperatures between 140° and 200° C. In any event the hardening process for phenol resins requires a temperature in excess of 100° C. Phenol resins are distinguished by high adhesive stability and good mechanical properties. Furthermore they show good heat-resistance up to around 250° C. Phenol resins are ideal in applications where the adhesive layer is subject to high temperature and where safety considerations are a priority. Typical applications are the glueing of brake- and clutch-linings in vehicle construction.

END APPLICATION
  • ABRASIVE CLOTH & PAPER
Abrasive cloth and paper includes products for light sanding in woodworking applications and for heavy grinding of stainless steel and other materials.
  • FRICTION MATERIAL
Uses include brake linings, disk pads and clutch facing for automotive, railroad and other industrial machinery applications.
  • ADHESIVES:
Used for compounding with chloroprene rubber and nitrile rubber. Rubber type solvent-based adhesives are easy to use and provide strong adhesive strength, and are thus used in a wide range of applications.
  • PAINTS
Phenolic resin-based paints include metal paints, created through combination with epoxy resins. They provide good resistance to water and chemicals, good mechanical adhesion and other favorable properties.
  • CONSTRUCTION
Our products excel in terms of fire retardant, low-smoke and mechanical properties. They are used for transport equipment and in construction and civil engineering applications.
  • THERMAL & ACOUSTIC INSULATION
Used as a binder for inorganic fibers (glass wool, rock wool) and organic fibers (cotton, etc.) used to manufacture thermal and acoustic insulation materials.Thermal and acoustic insulation bound with PHENOLIC RESIN meet the needs of users in these energy-conscious times, and are used widely in the automotive and housing industries.
