INTRODUCTION
Penta Ester Gum is found to be useful as moisture protecting material with delayed release of drug. The ester of gum is widely used in Aluminium paint medium, adhesives and clear varnishes. Penta ester gum is made from gum rosin or refined gum rosin through esterification with glycerolused in pressure sensitive adhesives products. It is readily soluble in all aromatic & aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, M.T.O.

END APPLICATION

Penta Ester Gum is predominantly used in adhesives as tackifiers and / or process aids in other industries
It is also used for pigment wetting in letdown applications, especially in sheet-fed systems where fast set and rub resistance are of concern.
It is used in paint and varnish material industry; thermoplastic compounds for road marking; hot melts and glues susceptible to pressure; insulation finishes;

SPECIALITY

It exhibits the following properties
Excellent film-forming properties.
It is found to be useful as moisture-protecting material with delayed release of drug.
Excellent resistance to higher pH levels and can be used for the sustained release of the drug.
Good stability and anti-aging ability.
It can greatly improve the adhesion power of EVA gum with good anti-oxidation because of its extremely pale color, low odor and excellent heat stability,
Dissolvable in petroleum hydrocarbons, aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and other solvent.
For its excellent compatibility with various kinds of resins, it may be used across the board with NR, CR, SBR, EVA, SIS, SBS and other high polymers.
