INTRODUCTION
Chlorinated rubber is a derived product modified from the natural rubber through chlorination. It finds wide application in the production of coatings, inks, adhesives, etc. It is non-toxic, odorless, white or pale-yellow loose and soft powders, soluble in such solvents as benzene, ketone, ester, etc., but insoluble in water. Chlorinated rubber has physical drying mechanism. It has a property of film formation by solvent evaporation. Chlorinated Rubber is used in coatings, offering them excellent properties, such as, weather-fastness, water-fastness, insulation, non-inflammability, chemical resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, anticorrosion, mould proof, and increasing the adhesiveness and shock strength of the coatings. Chlorinated rubber is compatible with various resins & plasticizer & has good adhesion on various substrates.

END APPLICATION

PAINTS

Chlorinated Rubber is used for Maintenance paints for steel structure, Traffic paints, Fire retardant paints, Swimming pool paints, Marine paints, High build paints & Container coatings.
The coatings produced with chlorinated rubber are widely used for anticorrosion and painting on such facilities as ocean ships,river boats, oil extraction production platforms on the sea, wharfs, towers, containers, car chassis, road signs, chemical equipment, etc., which have high requirements for protection.

PRINTING INKS

Chlorinated Rubber is used for Reprographic & Marking.
Chlorinated rubber with low viscosity can be used to make high class printing ink.

ADHESIVES

Chlorinated Rubber is used for General purpose – Neoprene based, Nitrile Rubber based, Rubber to metal bonding, Rubber to metal bonding, Sealants & Pressure sensitive adhesives.
The chlorinated rubber with high viscosity can be used to make adhesives with high strength.

Single pack formulations
Excellent re-coatability after ageing
The paint can be applied by brush, roller, dipping, flow coating, airless spray.The paints can be applied under adverse high humidity atmospheric conditions, such as low temperatures above dew point.
Zinc rich, anticorrosive, antifouling, architectural as well as fire retardant paints can be formulated.
Paints can be stored for a very long duration in good closed containers in a dry and cool place.
